If you are looking for healthy ginger Ayurvedic dessert recipe, I bet these squares will melt in your mouth. Goodness of ginger, ghee, nuts all in one.

Ginger is a flowering plant that originated in Southeast Asia. It’s among the healthiest (and most delicious) spices on the planet.

It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, and it’s closely related to turmeric, cardamom, and galangal.

The rhizome (underground part of the stem) is the part commonly used as a spice. It’s often called ginger root or, simply, ginger.

Ginger is also good for grounding. It helps in balancing kapha dosha in the body. It can be consumed in form of tea or used as a spice in the meals or may be just taken in the grounded form post meals.

Due to its hot potency ginger is an excellent choice of balancing Vata dosha as the air element is dry, cold in nature.

There are cautions to be taken while consuming ginger as excess of everything can be harmful. Especially in Pitta prakriti people. It might cause increase in pitta dosha and hyperacidity.

So what actually happens if you drink ginger tea everyday? Ginger tea helps in digestion of the food and helps in assimilation of the ahara rasa which is the vital nutrients and prana from the food we consume. Ginger can be taken regularly everyday and the adult dose can vary from 3gm powder to 6gm powder twice a day with luke warm water.
